 About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides comprehensive mental health services in the Del Rio, TX area. I recently relocated to Texas from Rhode Island, where I was working in a private practice setting for 2 years. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. Before that, I completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. I have worked in various mental health settings working with children, adolescents and adults. I follow a solution-focused approach to counseling, often utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques as well to enhance coping mechanisms and to strengthen coping skills. I have extensive experience performing psychological and psycho-educational evaluations with all age groups. I completed my postdoctoral training at the VA Hospital in San Diego. I currently serve as a Consultant for the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Pacific Islands Division, in Honolulu, Hawaii. My current interests include: psychological testing; educational testing; individual, couples, and family therapy with veterans & their families; combat PTSD.
